These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Touch\u00e9 Flooring website and the services provided by Touch\u00e9 Flooring. By using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms.<\/p>

Touch\u00e9 Flooring provides wood floor sanding, restoration, repairs, refinishing, wood floor installation, LVT flooring installation and related flooring services throughout London, Essex, Surrey, Kent and Hertfordshire.<\/p>

References throughout these Terms & Conditions to “we”, “our” or “us” refer to Touch\u00e9 Flooring.<\/p>

References to “you” or “your” refer to the website user or customer.<\/p>

Whilst we make every effort to ensure information is accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that all content is free from errors, omissions or inaccuracies.<\/p>

Quotations<\/strong><\/p>

All quotations provided by Touch\u00e9 Flooring are:<\/p>

  • Free of charge unless otherwise stated<\/li>
  • Based upon information available at the time of quotation<\/li>
  • Subject to site inspection where necessary<\/li>
  • Valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated<\/li><\/ul>

    Additional work identified during a project may require a revised quotation or written variation.<\/p>

    Flooring Services<\/strong><\/p>

    Whilst we take every reasonable step to achieve the best possible outcome, wood flooring is a natural product and results may vary depending on:<\/p>

    • Age of the floor<\/li>
    • Previous repairs<\/li>
    • Timber species<\/li>
    • Existing damage<\/li>
    • Moisture levels<\/li>
    • Historical maintenance<\/li>
    • Structural movement<\/li><\/ul>

      We cannot guarantee that all defects, stains or damage can be completely removed through restoration.<\/p>

      Wood Floor Sanding & Restoration<\/strong><\/p>

      The purpose of restoration is to improve the appearance, performance and longevity of existing flooring.<\/p>

      Customers acknowledge that:<\/p>

      • Existing repairs may remain visible after sanding<\/li>
      • Timber colour variations are natural<\/li>
      • Filled gaps may behave differently depending on seasonal movement<\/li>
      • Some stains or damage may remain partially visible<\/li>
      • Historic repairs may become more noticeable following restoration<\/li><\/ul>

        We will advise where any limitations are identified before work begins.<\/p>

        Colour Matching & Staining<\/strong><\/p>

        Where staining or colour changes are requested:<\/p>

        • Sample approval may be required before work proceeds<\/li>
        • Final colours may vary due to timber species, age and previous treatments<\/li>
        • Exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed<\/li>
        • Lighting conditions may affect perceived colour<\/li><\/ul>

          Customers are responsible for approving stain samples prior to application.<\/p>

          Wood Floor Installation<\/strong><\/p>

          Where Touch\u00e9 Flooring installs new flooring:<\/p>

          • Flooring materials should be inspected upon delivery<\/li>
          • Any concerns regarding product quality or appearance should be raised before installation<\/li>
          • Installed flooring will be deemed accepted once fitting has commenced<\/li><\/ul>

            Natural variations in colour, grain and texture are characteristics of genuine wood products and are not considered defects.<\/p>

            Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) Flooring<\/strong><\/p>

            LVT flooring should be maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.<\/p>

            Customers should note:<\/p>

            • Heavy furniture may leave indentations<\/li>
            • Direct sunlight may affect flooring appearance over time<\/li>
            • Subfloor condition can influence the finished appearance<\/li><\/ul>

              Touch\u00e9 Flooring will prepare the subfloor to industry standards where included within the quotation.<\/p>

              Customer Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>

              Customers are responsible for:<\/p>

              • Providing safe access to the property<\/li>
              • Ensuring the working area is clear where agreed<\/li>
              • Disclosing any known floor defects or property issues<\/li>
              • Ensuring pets and children are kept away from working areas<\/li>
              • Providing access to electricity and other necessary services<\/li><\/ul>

                Delays caused by restricted access or unforeseen site conditions may affect project timescales.<\/p>

                Payments<\/strong><\/p>

                Payment terms will be outlined within your quotation or invoice.<\/p>

                Unless otherwise agreed:<\/p>

                • Deposits may be required before work commences<\/li>
                • Interim payments may be required on larger projects<\/li>
                • Final balances are payable upon completion<\/li><\/ul>

                  Late payments may result in additional charges and interest being applied in accordance with applicable legislation.<\/p>

                  Cancellations<\/strong><\/p>

                  If a project is cancelled after acceptance but before work begins, Touch\u00e9 Flooring reserves the right to recover reasonable costs already incurred, including:<\/p>

                  • Materials ordered<\/li>
                  • Site visits completed<\/li>
                  • Administrative costs<\/li>
                  • Specialist surveys<\/li><\/ul>

                    Any cancellation charges will be communicated clearly.<\/p>

                    Limitation of Liability<\/strong><\/p>

                    Touch\u00e9 Flooring’s liability shall be limited to the value of the services provided.<\/p>

                    We shall not be liable for:<\/p>

                    • Indirect losses<\/li>
                    • Consequential losses<\/li>
                    • Loss of income<\/li>
                    • Loss of business opportunity<\/li>
                    • Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control<\/li><\/ul>
